This past summer, neighborbee had the honor of being chosen to be the focus of a consulting class at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. It was Dr. DiLorenzo’s class, who is my mentor, former teacher, and dear friend. We were chosen because of our commitment to figuring out how neighborbee could improve communities.
The class interviewed me to get a better understanding of the goals of the business and analyzed everything from the site, to the brand and where we wanted to go.
They delivered a comprehensive analysis of the business, including a go forward strategy, in a formal marketing plan. The image you see is a screenshot of the final presentation and a sneak peek at the new brand.
The class came to the conclusion that neighborbee should continue in its form because we are having a positive impact on the people we’ve been profiling. But in order to scale, they recommended that we focus our efforts on Zoom videos. Videos have more impact on the viewers especially as we refocus our efforts to target a younger demographic.
The ultimate goal is for neighborbee to evolve into a Podcast to showcase members in another impactful way.
We are very excited for the future of neighborbee. In the meantime, we will keep working hard by showcasing our members and pollinating communities with prosperity and happiness.
