FD Prints, Michael and Tania Frey

Hi everyone, please meet Michael Frey and his lovely wife, Tania.  Michael and Tania are the husband and wife team behind FD Prints. With Michael’s 20 years in the New York City Fire Department and Tania’s 25+ years as a graphic/digital/branded merchandise designer, they discovered a niche that was missing in the poster world – fire-related Art-Deco posters.  While they have been working on this for the past 4 years, they officially launched on 6/3/2020, which is also the date of their 25th wedding anniversary!

They live in Putnam County and have two beautiful daughters. Michael and I went to grammar school on Long Island at John Lewis Childs in Floral Park.  To add to their credentials, Tania is also an adjunct professor at FIT for the past 14 years and Michael is an Air Force veteran.

Michael gets inspiration from his firehouse (Engine 324) in Corona, Queens and Tania brings his ideas to life.  Their passion for the Fire Department makes it more special and personal for them. and it shows in their posters.

Tania loves Art Deco, so the art is done in this style which gives it the prominence and exuberance it deserves with a modern feel.

They are spreading pride about firefighters, law enforcement, and COVID first responders at a time when we desperately need it.

Each firehouse is unique and has its own history and personality.   FD prints creates custom posters for not only firehouses, but also family members of firefighters, friends and people that support and celebrate them.
